Snow Peak’s Amenity Dome 3 provides extra shaded space and better ventilation for an overall enhanced camping experience. It now features a symmetrical vestibule and an updated outer frame structure that provides added utility to the rainfly. Inserting the aluminum poles directly into the rainfly sleeves transforms the rainfly into a sun shelter.
This expands the shaded area outside, perfect for lounging, cooking, storage, and more. This also means the rainfly can be pitched separately, ensuring the inner tent stays dry in case of a downpour. The inner tent attaches to the inside of the rainfly using the included clips.
Moreover, the vestibule’s symmetrical design enhances ventilation of the Amenity Dome 3. It features arched doors on both sides with zippered side panels that allow cross-ventilation. You can set up lounge chairs inside the tent and enjoy the breeze through the vestibule. It also has a front door with side panels for weather resistance when used as an awning.
The tent remains breathable and comfortable inside even if zipped tight for protection against the weather. Speaking of weather protection, this three-person tent features a rainfly made from a 75D polyester shell with a PU waterproof coating that provides a 1,800 mm waterproof rating. Meanwhile, the walls of the inner tent are made from 68D polyester taffeta.
The Amenity Dome 3 measures an overall size of 16.9′ L x 9.2′ W x 5.4′ H. It provides enough interior room at 8.7′ L x 8.7′ W x 4.8′ H. There may not be enough room to stand up, but its lowered height provides the tent with wind resistance. This camping tent weighs 9.03kg and packs down to a size of 28.0” × 8.7” × 10.2”.
