Toyota used to make interesting sports cars such as the MR2 roadster and the Supra coupe. However, the company steered a bit blandly of late with family cars that towed a dare we say boring line. Toyota is the biggest car company in the world though and there have been signs of the company rejuvenating its sports past (the GT86 springs to mind).
Now the Japanese brand is back with this frankly stunning FT-1 Sports Coupe Concept. Yes, start wiping your tears now because this is just a concept, but there seems enough reality here that it could find its way to the road at some point. The car is being showed off at the Detroit Motor Show this week and while there are no performance specs to gawk at we can at least salivate as we stare at its bold lines.
