We love how Huawei shocked us with the Mate 20 X—a gaming phablet version of its range-topper. However, the surprises did not stop as it took the covers off of the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 20 RS. This is not the first time that both companies collaborated on a smartphone, but this new model is by far the most stylish one yet.
We often measure the build quality of a smartphone from the choice of materials it uses. Glass, aluminum, titanium, ceramics, and so much more can elevate its position to a luxury-tier item. That’s why Porsche Design taps into the carmakers rich racing DNA to make the handset stand out.
The aesthetics up front looks exactly like the Pro, but its rear panel redefines its status entirely. You get handcrafted premium leather strips that line each side. Meanwhile, the middle seamlessly transitions into a glass sheet and forms a cohesive and luxurious appearance. Unlike its regular counterpart, the triple-camera lineup sits flush and level with the surface of the crystal panel. The design studio’s emblem sits close to the center with the manufacturer’s name just below it.
To keep your Porsche Design Huawei Mate 20 RS protected and as stylish as ever, a collection of premium accessories are likewise available. You can look forward to cutting-edge performance as everything inside exactly matches the spec sheet of the regular flagship model—with a small exception. The limited edition variant sports a 256GB internal storage by default with a 512GB option available.
