Just a year after Aston Martin released the DB11 Coupe, they have graced the world with a lighter, convertible rendition. Differing from the hardtop edition, the Aston Martin DB11 Volante will be sporting a 503-hp 4.0 liter, twin-turbo V8 engine rather than the coupe’s signature V12. It still has all the power of the larger engine though, with a 0-60 sprint in 4.1 seconds, 0-100mph in 8.8 and a 187 mph top speed. It still maintains the 3 stage powertrain, 8-speed paddle shift transmission, and a limited-slip differential.
The eight-layered fabric roof of the convertible Aston Martin DB11 Volante is crafted of cutting edge acoustic and insulation materials to protect you from extremes of sound or temperature. The top takes just 16 seconds to open or close and can operate at speeds up to 30 mph or in similar crosswinds. The DB11 Volante even pampers you with a heated steering wheel for enjoying the chilly open-top days in more comfort.
