Monaco-based Wally Yachts has just introduced their new day cruiser boat they made with racing in mind. The ‘Tender X’ ($Inquire) is powered by three 6-cylinder Mercury 400 Verado ‘RCD2′ outboard racing engines. With a combined horsepower of 1,200, the Tender X can reach an impressive top speed of right at 69 mph.
This sleek white craft is 45′ long with a 13’ beam and a draft of barely over 2-1/2 feet. Along with its 63-gallon onboard water supply, the Tender X has the capacity for 396 gallons of fuel to feed the engines. It provides a range of over 400 miles at half speed (35 mph) and can handle winds up to 46 mph easily. As expected, the cockpit has all the newest navigational instrumentation. [via]
