Hard-core ‘Back to the Future’ fans are probably getting ecstatic hearing this news. The DeLorean Motor Company has finally received the green light to make a limited number of the 2017 DeLorean DMC-12 ($100,000) completed replica motor vehicles, that resemble the appearance of cars produced 30 years ago.
Before you get overexcited, you should know that production hasn’t started yet. We hear that the rides (about 300 of them) will be built using a mix of original and newly manufactured reproduction parts (to comply with the current Clean Air Act standards), including a new V8 powertrain.
