In keeping with their mission statement of creating clothes that are both functional and stylish, Taylor Stitch of San Francisco, California have launched another example of apparel that blends seamlessly into your lifestyle.

The Project Jacket in Field Tan ($198) pays homage to the workwear of an older, more rugged time. Comprised of 10-oz Waxed Army Duck Canvas, this vintage jacket is both water repellent and very durable. Cut in such a timeless style, the fasteners are custom YKK antique copper mushroom buttons. There is a button-flap top pocket with a pen sleeve and two top and side entry pockets below. Seams are flat felled and all stress points are reinforced with bar tacking.

There will be only a limited number of these jackets produced as they are using exclusive and dead-stock fabrics. To preserve the wax treatment it is recommended the jacket only be spot cleaned with a warm, wet cloth and never washed, dried or dry cleaned.
