Even if you have shit loads of money to drop on a supercar, the all-new Convertible LaFerrari ($TBA) is still out of reach. The new limited edition special series is set to be unveiled at the Paris International Motor Show this October, and it’s already sold out. We were saving for nothing …
Details such as the name, technical characteristics and heart attack price of this stunner are scant right now, but here’s what we know: power is delivered by the same 800hp, 6.3L V12 engine coupled with the 163hp electric motor of the original LaFerrari (the company’s first hybrid car). This adds to a total of 963 hp, pushing the car from 0-62 mph in under three seconds, to 124 mph in under seven seconds, and reaching a top speed of 225 mph. Available with a removable carbon-fibre hard top & a removable soft top, the new prancing horse features “the same torsional rigidity and beam stiffness as the coupé version,” while “aerodynamics have also been further honed to guarantee the same drag coefficient even without the roof.” Sounds promising.
