We’re not sure if you can pass unnoticed driving around in this car, but the Ringbrothers 1965 Fastback Mustang Espionage can clearly put up a decent race or escape when shit hits the fan.
Built by Jim and Mike Ring of Wisconsin-based Ringbrothers (repair shop, custom builder and custom parts store), the special Stang you see here draws its name from the rich “Spy Green” paint job it shines (the fact that the owner’s name is kept undisclosed also helps with the secrecy factor). The frame and body structure come form a ’65 Ford Mustang, but everything else is carbon fiber goodness, while the muscle is provided by a 427 cubic inch LS7 engine with a massive Whipple supercharger producing 959 hp and 858 ft-lb of torque!
The ‘Espionage’ is packed-full with superb details including various billet-aluminum trim pieces, a retro-styled cabin with Recaro seats, a Momo steering wheel, vintage carbon-fiber door mirror, a C-pillar-mounted fuel cap, and the list goes on. If you’re planning for a similar project of your own, Ringbrothers will sell you any of these parts and kit setups to get rolling.
