Portugal-based MUD Cycles creates two-wheeled vehicles that end up becoming objects of desire. Their latest work, the Wood Bicycle ($TBA) required a slow and complicated development process, but the end result is pretty darn awesome.
Almost entirely handmade of wood, the bike features a birch & oak frame, pedals, and mudguards, while the aged-leather saddle (your testicles would’t be happy squeezed on a wooden seat!) adds to the raw, authentic look. More than just a decorating piece for your apartment, the 2-wheeler should do quite fine on the road, thanks to the rest of the parts it contains, like the Shimano 3-speed shifter, Shimano rollerbrakes, the KMC chain, the double wall rims by Rodi Web, and the 26″ Schwalbe Big Apple tires. Complete with an old-school gearshift lever by MUD Cycles. via
