God probably rides something like this! ‘The Musket’ Motorcycle by Hazan Motorworks ($NA) is truly a stunning work of art – the best looking custom bike we’ve ever laid eyes on!
Created by Brooklyn-based artist Maxwell Hazan, ‘The Musket’ is built around a hand-machined 1000cc V-twin, which actually consists of two Royal Enfield 500cc engines fused together into one flawless piece. The bike wears huge BF Goodrich Silvertown car tires, attached to an equally large frame, to suit the massive motor. With the exception of the tires, wheels and headlight, every single piece was handmade, including the polished gas tank and fenders (shaped from 6061 aluminium), the steel frame, and the cool handlebars.
Boasting a clean design, the motorcycle has flowing lines that showcase the beautiful engine. Another detail we need to mention is the gorgeous wooden seat- crafted out of an aged piece of walnut, coated in 15 layers of polyurethane lacquer and then polished to perfection to look like a “Steinway Piano”. We don’t know how ‘The Musket’ rides (amazingly, Max says), but that doesn’t even matter now – we’re in a state of ecstasy just looking at it! via
