Curved panels are nothing new. We’ve seen them on TVs, PCs and even smartphones. However, we’ve never seen a PC that offers so much horizontal screen area, as the HP Envy Curved All-in-One PC ($1,800). That’s because this is the world’s widest curved all-in-one home computer.
The new HP machine boasts a 34-inch diagonal curved display (so you can comfortably view 3 browser windows side-by-side), a high resolution of 3440×1440, and a 21:9 aspect ratio for an “immersive viewing experience.” Offering a 178-degree viewing angle, along with HDMI-in functionality, and surround audio via six integrated Bang & Olufsen speakers, the computer should work quite nicely as an external display for watching movies, games, Celine Dion concerts or whatever you’re into. The all-in-one setup runs on Windows 10, and features up to 16GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 960A graphics, Intel Core CPUs (i5 or i7), an Intel RealSense camera, and various storage options including a 128GB SSD and a 1TB hybrid drive. Drops November 22.
