Bell & Ross is honoring the most successful multi-role fighter aircraft in existence, the Dassault Rafale, by introducing a chronograph which mirrors its essence. The new Bell & Ross BR 03-94 Rafale ($5,800) shines as a strong, sporty and masculine watch that can be worn during any activity by everyday men of action.
The result of yet another successful collaboration between the French watch brand and aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation, the BR 03-94 Rafale represents the passion for aeronautics and technological innovation. It features the already established square case in a 42 mm size, made of matte black ceramic (a material often used in the aerospace industry for its lightness and endurance), as well as a handsome monochrome camouflage grey dial with black Arabic numerals.
Other subtle nods to the Rafale fighter include the orange accents on the chrono hands (also found in aeroplane cockpits), a small seconds counter displaying the distinctive silhouette of the aircraft, and the logo at 6 o’clock. The BR 03-94 Rafale houses a reliable mechanical automatic movement (BR-301), and it comes equipped with a natural rubber strap and an additional nylon canvas strap. Limited Edition of 500 pieces.
