Minimal clutter, maximum fun. No other words can describe better the SpeedVagen Urban Racer ($5,000). And sure, it looks pretty, but this bike is not intended for cruising around. It was built to be raced, crashed, abused to the extreme.
Designed and handcrafted in Portland-Oregon, by Vanilla Workshop (a company of expert builders with a 15-year background in building race machines), the Urban Racer is not your common city bike. It’s a combination of fit, design and precise fabrication, promising to offer a superior ride.
Ditching everything non-essential, this lightweight two-wheeler boasts a stainless steel construction, a simple foot brake paired with a two speed internal SRAM hub (that shifts automatically), Japanese Honjo fenders, a one-piece integrated handlebar and stem, a sturdy custom bag rack, and German Supernova LED lights with wires routed inside of the frame.
The SpeedVagen Urban Racer looks like the perfect urban shred sled, and to say we’d be psyched to ride this baby is an understatement.
