Stand-up paddle boards are fun to ride, but impractical to carry around and store. Until now! Meet the SipaBoard ($1,300): the world’s first self-inflating electric powered paddleboard, with a jet propulsion engine.

Wirelessly controlled via waterproof buttons built into the handle of the paddle, the engine provides a maximum speed of 3.5 knots (or 4.03 miles per hour) and it’s designed to cut out if the board is separated from the paddle by more than a few feet (in case the user falls out or drops the paddle). A single charge of the removable battery gives you 3 hours of cruising at 2 knots, with the same motor doubling as a pump to inflate the board’s double-layered hull to a rock-solid form in five minutes. The SipaBoard is fully protected against punctures or abrasions, and once you’re done cruising, it packs nicely into a backpack or the trunk of your car.
