With the Geneva auto show happening in just a few days (5-15 March), Men’s Gear will be covering the kind of outstanding vehicles that make us men drool over. And the first one in line is what they call the “most performance focused road-going Vantage” – the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Special Edition ($TBA).
This supercar brings racetrack driving on the roads in a stunning fashion, combining cutting edge motorsport features with killer looks. Its power comes from Aston Martin’s latest iteration of the 6.0-liter V12 engine, a monster blasting out 600hp, capable of sending the GT3 from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 185 mph. To reduce the weight, carbon fiber has been used extensively on parts like the eye-catching rear wing, the front splitter, front wings, seat shells, rear diffuser and door casings. Other exceptional specs include a racing clutch, seven-speed paddleshift gearbox, Michelin Pilot Sport tires, ventilated carbon ceramic discs, and an all titanium exhaust system. The Special Edition Aston Martin Vantage GT3 will be limited to just 100 examples, promising the lucky owners a hair-raising experience both on the road and the track.
