This is the most impressive, original and weird timepiece we’ve seen so far! The design language is completely different of what we can find in a normal watch.
Built by the talented team of professionals from MB&F in Switzerland, the HM6 ‘Space Pirate’ ($230,000) is made up of 475 finely finished components, 68 jewels and complex mechanisms, housed by a solid titanium case. The transparent central dome is a 60-second flying tourbillon, powering up the 2 semi-spherical rotating hour and minute domes. At the top, two other sapphire crystal domes cover the twin aluminum turbines that automatically regulate the winding system. This incredible horological machine took 4 years of developing and only 50 units will be made. With its nature inspired fluid design and cool looking sci-fi design, the HM6 ‘Space Pirate’ is definitely a piece to admire. That is, if you can afford it. via
