Thodio received wide attention beyond the audio community with its A-Box, a speaker cab that used an old ammunition box as a cabinet. The company is back with the Thodio iBox XC ($800) which is just as industrial with Kevlar drivers, SoftDome tweeters, and a 2×100 amplifier. The unit comes with a 12-hour battery that is rechargeable, an optional Bluetooth receiver for wireless linking, and a choice of the following build materials, teak, oak, and zebrawood.
