Netherlands-based Weltevree released an updated model of the perky Dutchtub ($5,800). Their wood burning, outdoor hot tub – which we covered in a previous post – is now available in 5 colors: Orange, Grey, Olive, Pigeon Blue, and Terra Red.
Featuring a glass fiber/polyester body that can hold 171 gallons of water (with space for up to 4 people), the bowl-like tub gets hot by burning wood in a pipe-connected fire basket. Its light weight of only 165 lbs (75 kg) lets you move it around easily – even with a bicycle – so you can enjoy the luxury of a hot soak at your desired location. Delivered in a wooden crate, complete with a cover, fire basket, a turbo valve and a special Dutchtub wok which keeps the heat of the fire in the coil.
