Swiss watchmaker Zenith has just presented a new version of their Cronometro Tipo CP-2 Flyback, arriving this time in a handsome bronze case.
A remake of the iconic ‘Cairelli’ military chronograph released in the mid-1960s for the Italian Army, the 2018 CP-2 (‘CP’ stands for wrist chronometer in Italian) maintains the same chunky build as the original watch. It features a 43 mm case and a highly-readable grained bronze dial, while inside ticks a solid automatic El Primero column-wheel chronograph movement with a reserve of 50 hours and a flyback function.
This superb pilot watch comes on a brown oily nubuck leather strap with protective rubber lining and a titanium pin buckle clasp.
