Everyone is unique. We each have our personal likes and dislikes and tend to customize our possessions with a personal touch. We even seek to find ways to give that individual look to our computers. One classy method of making your simple silver Macbook stand out from the crowd is to slip on a hand-crafted genuine wooden cover.
Braden Heppell, the founder of “Touch of Wood”, got his inspiration from seeing countless identical silver laptops around the university library where he studied. Being a fan of traditional wood decor, he sought merge old-world elegance with modern technology.
The Touch of Wood Macbook Covers ($65) he created are very thin and are laser-cut to a perfect fit on both 13″ and 15″ Apple laptops. The wood is backed by a premiere 3M Pressure Sensitive Adhesive which holds the wooden cover firmly in place. If you ever tire of it the wooden cover can be removed safely, leaving no adhesive residue behind. Each cover is crafted from one of six distinctive woods (zebrawood, cherry, maple, teak, walnut, & rosewood), and the natural grain assures no two are alike.
