Normally, guys design their man caves based on their interests and hobbies. It could include décor and amenities that give guests an idea of the things they enjoy in life. Just recently, A Work of Substance shared a glimpse into a project they recently completed for a client based in Hong Kong. Dubbed “The Library,” it’s a private showroom like no other.

We recently featured a couple of luxury homes that were recently listed. Aside from the size of the mansions and property, these dwellings had underground garages for owners to showcase their car collections. The Library is somewhat similar except for the fact that it is purely a dedicated leisure space.

The multi-level man cave spans 6,120 square feet and holds various makes and models. Those noteworthy enough to point out are a Mercedes-Benz 300SL, an Aston Martin DB5, and a Ferrari F40, among others. The volumes also hold various memorabilia, to make it a gearhead’s dream attraction.

According to A Work of Substance, the lower floor touts a 1950s theme. You can see it on the stainless-steel car elevators, concrete walls, a 10-foot-wide ceiling fan, and timber cladding on various surfaces. Meanwhile, the upper floor of The Library opts for wooden elements.

The latter is where you’ll find the owner’s private lounge and most of his favorite vehicles on display. Even the lighting creates a distinct atmosphere to make you want to stay longer and take in the sights. There’s also a bar, a lounge, and a racing simulator for those who want to flex their driving skills. The Library is sure to inspire other well-heeled collectors to build man caves like it.
