What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? Each one of us clearly has unique personal tastes, but there are three that remain timeless to this day. The terrific trifecta includes chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. Nike has been on a roll as of late with one dope drop after another. Its latest project endows the Air Max 90 Futura with a “Neapolitan” flavor.
As it says in the name, this special release goes for a colorway that channels the dessert in question. The silhouette looks awesome courtesy of the tasty expression and will make you and those who see it want to grab a scoop or two before the day ends. Here’s everything there is to know about this delectable Air Max 90 Futura.
To live up to the Neapolitan motif, Nike starts us off with a heaping of vanilla via the white mesh upper and midsole. If you look closely, the clear Air unit shows there are no hidden swirls within. Next, we have a helping of chocolate on the leather overlays that form the mudguards and wrap around the entirety of the sneaker.
There’s also a dollop of it on the lace cages, tongue tags, inner lining of the tongues, and collar padding on the heel. Nike opts for a darker brown tone on the Air Max 90 Futura heel tab and the Swoosh logos on each side. Furthermore, these feature a texture we usually see on actual ice cream.
Neapolitan won’t be complete without strawberry and this Air Max 90 Futura has more than enough on it. Shades of pink are visible on the leather panels, lace cages, collar, inner lining, and sockliner. Finally, we have the outsole with patterns in white and two shades of brown.
