Ever since Bluetooth technology came out, constant innovation has unlocked even more features. Wireless audio is one of these and has paved the way for new ways for people to enjoy their music. Marshall leverages the latest systems to broadcast to multiple devices in your home. The Heddon is the latest product to streamline this process.
The brand offers a wide range of wireless speakers, and some of you might have a few on hand. Normally, we pair our smartphones or other devices to one or two units (in stereo pair mode) for our listening sessions. On the other hand, you can assign the Heddon to function as the main hub instead.
Although the primary selling point here is cord-free convenience, the Heddon can support a direct wired connection. You can still use older-generation SKUs via the rear RCA ports. Furthermore, hook up your turntable or other analog sources to experience the distinct warm acoustics throughout the home.
To take full advantage of the AuraCast functionality, Marshall lists the models that are compatible straight out of the box. These are the Acton III, Acton IV, Stanmore III, Stanmore IV, Woburn III, Stockwell III, Kilburn III, and Bromley 750. Meanwhile, there is a workaround for the rest of its Bluetooth-ready lineup.
Download the Marshall Bluetooth app and activate the Listen to Broadcast mode. The Heddon sports the iconic motif we usually see on the brand’s products. It measures 4.75″ x 4.75″ x 1.65″ and clocks in at 0.97 lbs. Finally, a LAN port is also available for wired internet setups.
