As the second model in the Amels Limited Edition 199 line, the Madame Kate luxury yacht was launched at the beginning of 2015. This is a gorgeous 60 meter (197 foot) vessel with a timeless design and excellent deck layouts that facilitate comfort and a glamorous lifestyle.
With almost complete lack of noise and vibrations throughout the yacht, life onboard is just as satisfying as life in a plush home. For precious moments of socialization, the salon on the sun deck is an excellent spot where guests lounge and chat, or engage in a fun evening of games. The deck itself is a haven of relaxation with a large Jacuzzi and an informal dining area.
The interiors were beautifully designed by Laura Sessa to reflect the owners’ wish to enjoy a timeless elegant design with splashes of vibrant colors inspired by their native country, Brazil. When the yacht participated at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2015, Sessa’s impeccable work brought in the event’s official Design Award.
Madame Kate is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. The main deck holds a superb full beam owner’s suite that boasts a highly contemporary style based on modern colors and patterns. Two enormous portholes allow plenty of light to fill the space. The guest rooms include two VIP suites and three regular staterooms, all flaunting excellent design and bright touches of color.
Another noteworthy feature is the fact that while the yacht is a stunning luxury toy in itself, Madame Kate can actually hold even more entertainment granting items, such as an 8 meter (26 foot) limo tender, a 6 meter (19 foot) MOB tender, a pair of waverunners and more. A pair of quite spectacular upward opening doors in the forward hull of the yacht allows easy access to all these water toys.
