Unique people deserve unique products. Legacy Eyewear of North Carolina feels the best way to offer such quality is to handcraft their sunglasses using all-natural materials. Working from a small boutique shop, they have created a line of Wooden Sunglasses ($58) that can stand the test of time.

All glasses contain high quality polarized lenses – offering 100% UVA/UVB protection – and come with flex hinges. Incidentally the frames are wood so they naturally float! To create this new American tradition, Legacy has designed five unique styles named after signers of the Declaration of Independence and crafted from woods native to each state these great men came from.

The Hoopers are American Black Walnut from Western North Carolina. The Franklins are carved from dense Pennsylvanian Oak. The Livingstons are New York Sugar Maple and are salvaged from old city buildings. The Waltons feature exquisite Black Cherry wood from Georgia, and the Wythes has a stainless steel frame meshed with Virginia Black Locust. Wear them proudly!
