ASUS has a reason to celebrate this year because its Republic of Gamers (ROG) badge is now 20 years old. The Taiwanese firm first unveiled the gaming-focused product line in 2006 and has amassed a global following since then. To promote its milestone, we have the ROG Edition 20 collection, which also includes the ROG SLASH Hard-Case Luggage Edition 20.

We know most of the high-tech gear in this special series is not exactly cheap. As most commemorative SKUs are, these boast exclusive designs and a limited number of examples. In fact, the ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle we covered before is also part of the release. Check out the sleek carry-on suitcase with a matching motif as the rest of the catalog.

The ROG SLASH Hard-Case Luggage Edition 20 uses a 100% polycarbonate shell and an aluminum frame with corner guards. Parallel grooves on the exterior are not only for aesthetics, but also reinforces the structure and enhances grip. It measures 545 mm x 370 mm x 230 mm (HxLxW) and weighs 9.4 lbs. when empty.

Overall, it can fit into standard aircraft overhead storage compartments. For security, it uses a TSA-compliant combination lock. Inside, you’ll find a gaming gear compartment, removable foam dividers, and a zipper mesh bag for optimal space organization. For smooth movement, it rides on 360-degree silent skate wheels.

A stainless gold steel plate with the ROG logo and “For Those Who Dare” script adorns the outside. According to ASUS, the theme of each ROG SLASH Hard-Case Luggage Edition 20 is “more than an aesthetic, this colourway reflects core values that are a testament to an enduring legacy.”
