Wearable tech is the next big consumer craze according to the experts. We have seen a number of smart watches arrive in recent months, and now Google has entered the fray in a big way with Android Wear. The internet giant will not be making any hardware, but will instead be tapping up its Android manufacturing partners (HTC, Motorola, LG, and more) to build on a new dedicated wearable operating system. Companies have already started showing off their products, and Motorola´s is the best looking smart watch we have seen. As for Android Wear, it will give users a mini Android mobile companion where they can get social media notifications, listen to music, have video, use fitness and other apps, and we presume tell the time.
