COMANDI-Corres went back to the drawing board to upgrade the RolTine pocket measuring tool into a more intuitive and tactile EDC companion. The result, RolTine2.0, is a mechanical fidget tool that delivers precise linear and circumferential measurements in an elegant, durable chassis machined from Grade 5 titanium.

The upgrade features a skeletonized framework with a dual-tone mechanical core that is both functional and aesthetic. It features precision 5-axis CNC cutouts that shed weight and prevent debris build-up. The exposed core also creates a mesmerizing play of light and shadows as it spins.

The anodized inner liners come in glacial blue and electric yellow, adding a contrasting pop of color to the raw titanium shell. The inner liner spins with every pull of the tape and catches the light. Speaking of the tape, RolTine2.0 uses crisp auto-retraction instead of the original’s manual push-button, delivering an effortless, hands-free springback mechanism.

Pull to measure, release to retract; the tape offers a full 150 cm (60 inches). It features laser-etched markings: Metric on one side and Imperial on the other, to cover daily measurement needs. The soft, high-durability tape naturally hugs curves, rounded edges, and irregular geometries without slippage.

Third, RolTine2.0 has micro-ball bearings and knurled edges for zero drag and slippage when using the measuring wheel. This results in smooth rotations across any surface, offering precise measurements in either Metric or Imperial. The knurled texture provides tactile feedback with every roll and a secure grip.

Fourth, an embedded industrial-grade N52 neodymium magnet delivers a crisp, tactile snap and powerful docking force on metal surfaces. Lastly, RolTine2.0 offers fidget-friendly wonder in a footprint smaller than most car key fobs at just 1.81″ D x 0.71 thick and at just 83g.
