JURA’s J10 automatic coffee machine was already impressive with its multifunctional design: it can brew 42 different coffee-based beverages at the touch of a button. But the brand’s latest release, the Z10 Gen 2, ups the ante. It makes 51 customizable cafe-quality drinks, including 12 cold brew specialties.
The speciality drinks are organized into four categories: Hot Brew, Light Brew, Cold Brew, and Sweet Foam. This range covers the classics from espresso and cappuccino to popular on-trend drinks for this generation. The adjustable Sweet Foam function infuses milk foam with a hint of syrup. It also now comes with a chocolate attachment, a first for JURA’s automatic coffee lineup.
The attachment whips up velvety chocolate foam, one-touch mochaccinos, and other decadent drinks using chocolate syrup. The Z10 Gen 2 provides intuitive navigation through the high-resolution 4 1/3″ color touchscreen and a Rotary Dial for quick scrolling. You can also save up to four coffee profiles for instant brewing access.
Additionally, the Product Recognizing Grinder automatically adjusts the grind according to your chosen drink. It grinds from superfine for short classics to very coarse for long drinks. It then resets after each brew to ensure a consistent extraction.
Moreover, Z10 Gen 2 features a caffeine regulator that lets you choose from three caffeine strength levels while maintaining your chosen flavor profile. It also bypasses heating and uses high pressure to pulse cold water through freshly ground coffee. This is done through the exclusive JURA COLD Extraction Process to retain complex flavor and aroma.
Meanwhile, the Pulse Extraction Process (PEP) optimizes extraction time for short drinks like espresso and ristretto. Other conveniences include integrated maintenance functions and a programmable timer so you can schedule brewing anytime you want, including during breakfast.
