Earlier this week, we featured the BRABUS x DAB Motors collection. The eco-friendly two-wheelers are available across three tiers, and each flaunts distinctive customizations by the shop. Little did we know that out of the four variants in the URBAN E FIRST EDITION, the Desert Sand is apparently a collaborative project with Hiroshi Fujiwara.

If the name rings a bell, it’s because he is the man behind Fragment Design. The label is a formidable force in the streetwear and fashion space. Likewise, his influence clearly extends beyond apparel and accessories.

In fact, the guy’s portfolio is full of impressive milestones, to say the least. With multiple collaborations in automotive, yacht, consumer electronics, and other fields under his belt, this latest venture with BRABUS and DAB Motors will generate plenty of publicity.

The canvas for the URBAN E FIRST EDITION is the 1α — a nimble and capable electric two-wheeler. It’s perfect for commuting to work or maybe a weekend of recreation. Among the four chromatic options, Fujiwara’s rendition is perhaps the least flashy.

While the Fusion Red version is positioned as the collection’s poster boy, the other colors are equally just as captivating. Nonetheless, we would also pick the Desert Sand for its military-inspired profile. Surely the people present at Milan Design Week 2026 would agree.

“BRABUS Masterpiece rider’s seat, finished in premium leather and matched to its respective colorway, with precise quilting that adds both comfort and visual depth,” writes BRABUS. Similar to the rest of the URBAN E FIRST EDITION lineup, the Desert Sand will offer 10 examples only.
