When word got out that Xiaomi was about to enter the EV market, many were skeptical about the move. However, the SU7 Ultra blew everyone away when it set a new world record at the legendary Nürburgring for a production vehicle with a green powertrain. Meanwhile, the recent debut of the Kosmera Nebula 1 at the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) could be a hint of more to come.
This time, you’re looking at an electrified four-door supercar from a competing Chinese tech firm. Unlike Xiaomi, which is practically a household name across the globe, Dreame is a relatively new player in the household appliance segment. Nonetheless, since its founding in 2017, the brand’s reach has grown exponentially.
The unveiling of the Nebula 1, which is under the company’s subsidiary Kosmera, hints at a future brimming with high-performance EVs. Furthermore, it appears that China may potentially become the leading supplier of eco-friendly supercars and hypercars. As of this writing, Dreame still has a concept on its hands.
According to press materials, the 1,399 kW quad-motor configuration generates a whopping 1,876 horsepower. Surprisingly, word is that the Nebula 1 can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in just 1.8 seconds. The unit on display at CES 2026 flaunts a sleek and aggressive silhouette.
Its aerodynamic exterior sports a coat of green with some parts in exposed carbon fiber. This is not merely by choice, as the composite typically denotes a lightweight build. Lastly, its wheels are shod in race-ready Pirelli P-Zero tires. Interior details of the Nebula 1 are not yet available, but it’s likely luxurious with cutting-edge creature comforts.
