Just unveiled at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show, the Bugatti Chiron Sport Hypercar – shown in carbon fiber black and hot “Italian Red” – is a thrilling new interpretation of the ultimate super sports car.
While the hair-raising power (1,500-hp W16 engine) and speed figures remain the same we saw in the Chiron model, the Sport version has higher-performing features while dropping 18 kilos of weight. This is achieved thanks to a number of lightweight elements including an industry-first carbon fiber windscreen wiper, a lighter rear window glass, and a new set of wheels.
A firmer chassis along with a new “dynamic torque vectoring function” and a sport-focused suspension setup provides even sharper handling, while a new four-pipe exhaust deflector and optional carbon fiber exterior add refined racing touches. As expected, Chiron Sport’s cabin is clad in luxurious materials such as Alcantara, leather, and carbon.
