The 2019 GMC Sierra Denali sports an industry-first MultiPro Tailgate – a multifunctional, transforming tailgate made of carbon fiber which is lightweight but also dent, scratch, and corrosion resistant, making it the most durable pickup box in its category.
Featuring a massive upright grille, taller hood, and bold C-shaped lights, the new Sierra has a menacing stance. It’s lighter, has the best-in-class cargo box volume, more passenger legroom and storage, larger tires, and an optional new 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. Tech upgrades include an array of cameras mounted on the hitch, side and trailer, plus a large multicolor heads-up display.
The most noteworthy selling point, however, is the innovative tailgate that offers six different positions for easier loading/unloading and functions such as a step/seat with a 375-pound weight capacity, and a standing workstation.
