Anyone who likes old-school military trucks will surely dig this 1978 International Scout II. The flawlessly restored classic has just been sold (bummer!) for a fair $44,000, but you can still feast your eyes on the pictures, and maybe get inspired for your future Scout II if you’re ever lucky enough to find one.

With 62,982 miles on the odometer, the 4X4 is powered by a recently serviced International’s 345 cubic inch V8 mated to a TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission. It features a four-inch lift, new exhaust, custom front and rear bumpers, power steering, power disc brakes and air conditioning, and is finished in a matte desert tan paint with a black top and black accents.

Straight and solid throughout, the truck rides on MT Deegan 17-inch powder-coated alloy wheels with Nitto 33×12.50 mud rubber. The interior welcomes the new owner with new seat upholstery, door panels & headliner, roll cage with three-point seat belts, rhino-lined all-weather floors, LED interior lighting, and a modern stereo.
