Based on the new 80’s-inspired BMW R nineT Urban G/S model, the ‘6 Days 66’ motorcycle by Unique Custom Cycles is a go-anywhere, true off-roader. What’s most impressive, the bike took just three weeks to be completed.
Named after legend Bo Rindar who rode a boxer for the BMW team in the 1966 International Six Days Trial, the 2-wheeler was commissioned by BMW Motorrad Sweden, and comes from the same customizing wizards that unveiled the superb R5 Hommage Bobber a while ago.
For a lighter, sportier look, the bike has been fitted with a custom subframe that follows the shape of the tail. The electrics are now tucked discretely under the seat, the engine got K&N filters, the suspension has been upped (Retro43 fork & STX46 shock), grippy foot pegs replace the stock ones, while a skidplate, carbon engine breast plate, and a full stainless/titanium Akrapovic exhaust have also been added.
Finished with a carefully detailed brown metallic and gold candy paint job, this off-piste conqueror looks like a total blast to ride.
