The Macallan Fine & Rare Collection is a series of vintage whiskies (the earliest being from 1926), of which the famous Speyside distillery releases only a small number of bottles per year. The latest to join the family of such sought-after concoctions (some are setting world record prices) is the 1977 Vintage.

Matured in a smaller hogshead cask, this unique single malt boasts the scotch’s famous full body with notes of sweet apples & vanillas. It presents a palate of wood spice, sweet citrus and a hint of peat in the background, with a rich yet delicate finish of “fruit and resinous oak.”

The 1977 Fine & Rare vintage has ABV of 48.5% and will be limited to only 4 bottles in the US market this year, each priced at an estimated $15,000 USD per 750ml bottle.
