Seiko’s latest release is a sleek, solid diving watch exclusive to the United States. The Prospex ‘Orange Samurai’ SRPB97 timepiece is an update on the 2005 original Samurai diver. The 44mm stainless steel case has been fitted with a black rotational diver’s bezel. The face is a very noticeable orange which lends extra visibility underwater and contrasts well with the black Seiko LumiBrite filled hands and white markers. The display is very straightforward with just hour, minute, and seconds hands along with a date window at 3 o’clock.

Inside the ‘Orange Samurai’ runs the in-house Automatic 4R36 caliber 24-jewel movement with a 41-hour power reserve. Being specifically made for diving, the watch is water resistant down to 656 feet (200m). It comes mounted on a stainless steel bracelet but with an extra black silicone diver strap with stainless steel buckle. Release date: November 13, 2017.
