Capitol Records is celebrating their 75th Anniversary this year and Klipsch Audio has just turned 70. This was an excellent chance for these two companies, working from opposite ends of the musical spectrum, to team up and create a special Bluetooth speaker.
The Klipsch Capitol One Speaker ($300) incorporates real wood veneer and spun copper knobs and switches on this semi-portable tabletop system. The One sports 2 1/4″ full-range drivers coupled to a 4.5″ woofer that has been professionally tuned by Klipsch acousticians. As well as wireless Bluetooth connectivity, the speaker also has a 3.5mm analog audio input jack and runs on an 8-hour rechargeable battery.
Along with being branded with a Special Edition Badge, the stylish anniversary speaker comes with a free vinyl record redemption code from Klipsch. Available in two color choices, either the light brown walnut ‘Capitol Blonde’ or the glossy ebony ‘Capitol Black’.
