As a direct response to the much-anticipated arrival of the Dodge Demon, Hennessey tuners out of Texas, USA, have conjured with a Chevy CamaroZL1 to create a machine capable of challenging that demon; The Hennesey Exorcist ($TBA)!
This demon-fighting muscle car has had its already impressive 640 hp engine cranked to capacity and pushed up to a full 1,000 horses under the hood. With its high-flow supercharger and a 14 psi intercooler system, the Exorcist had major old-fashioned hands-on tuning work and systems tweaking. A new camshaft and stainless steel headers were complimented by custom engine management software.
This over-pumped supercar can tear the track up with a 0 to 60 mark in under three seconds and the quarter mile in less than ten. Despite the racing qualifications of Hennessey’s ‘The Exorcist’ it can be ordered through a Chevrolet dealership as a production model.
