French watchmakers Bell & Ross have just added another option to their very popular BR 03-94 Steel Collection with the release of the very stylish Blue Steel Watch ($5,225). Identical to the black version in all but color, the new timepiece has a 42mm case of satin polished steel.
The sunburst dial shows multiple functions. Besides the Superluminova-filled hour and minute hands with their sweep second hand, the Blue Steel also features small seconds in the 3 o’clock position and a thirty-minute timer in the 9 o’clock dial and a small window at 4:30 gives the date.
The movement is an in-house BR-CAL 301 automatic mechanical engine that has a 38-hour power reserve. Water resistant down to 100 meters, the watch comes with a blue calfskin leather strap affixed with a pin buckle, perfectly in tone with the striking blue dial.
