There are few things that could improve the Mercedes-Benz big G-Wagon SUV but Kreisel Electric and Arnold Schwarzenegger may have just accomplished it. As a one-off project, Kreisel has taken conversations with the ex-governor and created the Kreisel All-Electric G-Class ($NA).
This all-wheel drive wagon can create 483 horsepower with its dual electric motors for a 186 mile range on a single charge. The top end speed hits 113 mph and can leap from 0 to 62 mph in 5.6 seconds. The 1.124 pound 80 kWh battery is balanced throughout the vehicle so as to not hinder performance.
Kreisel made little change on the inside, merely modifying to work wit an electric powertrain. 150 kW fast-charging technology on this concept vehicle can bring a low battery back up to 80% inside a half hour. Regrettably, there are no plans to put this electric 4×4 into production but Arny promises this one won’t stay hidden in a garage.
