The latest project from National Custom Tech out of Feldkirchen, Austria was a no-rush labor of love for this heavy-hitting shop bike, dubbed the ‘Black Stallion #28’ ($NA). They started with a BMW R100 RT and took it down to the nuts and bolts.
From there they did extensive work on the engine, installing new pistons, cylinders, and camshaft. Velocity stacks replace the old airbox and the custom exhaust ends in a beefy Akrapovič muffler for an extra kick both in looks and performance. Adding to the latter, there’s a new Öhlins shock out back, a set of Showa upside-downs forks, Brembo brakes, and grippy dual-sport Heidenaus rubber. Sleek, low-profile Motogadget speedo & switches and LED headlights complete the bike, which is covered in glossy black with rich gold accents, like a boss! [via]
