Expecting to turn heads and amaze spectators to the Glemseck 101 Motorcycle Festival in Leonberg, Germany, Berlin-based Urban Motor has pulled out all the stops for a uniquely fashioned custom built bike. Designer Henry Schulze began by stripping away everything but the 1964 Jawa 350 18hp 2-stroke engine. He then crafted an all new chassis from steel tubing and brought in Marvin Diehl of KRT Framework to help build the metal alloy body.
Diehl also developed the unusual front suspension design with the integrated handlebars. The engine now sports a Jikov carburetor and two short exhausts. Riding on two 23” alloy SM Pro rims it requires only the single rear drum brake for stopping and weighs in at just 198 pounds (90 kg).
