With a design influenced by iconic supercars like the Shelby Cobra & the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, the Jannarelly Design-1 Retro Roadster ($55K) is a hand-built, small-batch 1,565 lbs (710 kg) sports vehicle, perfect for cruising around in hot weather. And for picking up chicks, of course.
Created by Anthony Jannarelly, the same guy who masterminded the aggressive 900hp Fenyr SuperSport, this sleek roadster features timeless lines, with muscular haunches, sharp front fenders, a tiny windscreen, aerodynamically carved sides and roll-bar-hooded seats. Under the silver-painted, red-stripped carbon body, there’s a tubular steel chassis, while power is delivered by a V6 engine, sending 304hp to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The roadster tops 135 mph (225 km/h) and sprints from 0-60 mph (96.5 mph) in about four seconds. Limited to 30 cars (20 are allready spoken for) as a Special Launching Edition, the Design-1 can be customized both in looks & technical specs to client’s preferences, with first models expected to be delivered during summer 2016.
