German van converter Martin Hemp (talk about being predestined to work with cannabis users!) has managed to capture what Volkswagen has been chasing (unsuccessfully) for the last year: the essence of the VW classic camper bus, embodied in a modern vehicle. Enter the Volkswagen Flow Camper ($50,000+).
Based on the T6 model, the retro-inspired van looks like it came from the sixties, with its orange paint and flowery graphics, but what’s inside would certainly further catch a hippie’s attention. Here you’ll find a modular set of up-to-date camping indoor/outdoor equipment that includes a sink, 12L fresh & waste water tanks, single-burner outdoor gas cartridge stove, and a 25L compressor refrigerator. Included in the package there’s also a pop-up roof with bed, a folding platform bed for the cabin (sleeping up to 5!), heater, LED lighting, and 12V power with electrical sockets & USB ports. Complete with a tie-dye upholstery, curtains and trim, flower vase, and ashtray (a must!), the Flow Camper is available in 100-hp, 150-hp and 200-hp, in orange or white, and with seating for five to eight people. That sounds like a party trip.
