After wowing us with their charming Traveler mobile-house, world-acclaimed homemaker Escape is back with a new offering, aptly-named Vista ($39,900). Although smaller than the previous model, this tiny house features the same level of craftsmanship, while providing optional off-grid technology and full glazing, so you can completely connect with nature.
With a total floorspace of only 160 sq ft, the Vista features a space-saving layout, incorporating a kitchen (with refrigerator, dishwasher and convection cooktop), dining and living area, bathroom (equipped with a shower & composting toilet), plus bedroom area (with an optional pop-up TV). Occupants have also access to plenty of storage space, including large cabinets, shelving, under-bed drawers and handy little nooks. The Vista rests on a trailer for easy towing, and has an exterior clad in clear cedar siding and metal trim, while the insulated interior walls are clad in aspen and the floor is oak laminate. Optionally, you can get your tiny-house fitted with obscured glass, and off-grid tech such as a roof-based PV array, battery storage, and inverter. Made in Wisconsin, USA.
