What happens when two reputable British firms collaborate together to create a timepiece? The Bremont Jaguar MKIII Watch ($4,850)- that’s what happens. And then, they probably sit down and have tea and pudding. But that’s not important – let’s get back to the watch!
Drawing inspiration from the one of the most iconic sports cars of all time (and the most gorgeous) – the Jaguar E-Type – the MKIII features a 43mm polished steel case, a black tachometer-inspired dial with a date window at the six o’clock position and a subtle ‘red zone’ quadrant, plus hour markings that resemble the numerals found on E-Type instruments. The hardened stainless steel caseback is decorated with Jaguar Heritage markings, while the front sports a double-domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal that enhances the vintage look of the timepiece.
Powered by an automatic movement with a 38 hour reserve, the Bremont Jaguar MKIII also boasts a tire-style textured winding crown, and is completed with a deep blue calf leather strap with “racing portholes.” Water resistant to 10 ATM and priced quite reasonably.
