One of the coolest e-bicycles we’ve seen lately, the Otor Electric Bike ($2,900) combines vintage looks with modern day technology, to deliver a means of transport that is suited for both urban commuting and country roads.
Hand-built by OTO Cycles from Barcelona- Spain, the Otor draws inspiration from retro motorcycles, with its sweet-looking tank, curved handlebars, large headlight, and leather saddle&grips (it reminds us of an old Indian). The two-wheeler features a steel frame, a 250 w rear hub brushless engine powered by a Li-ion Samsung battery, an LCD display mounted on the handle bars, a Brooks saddle, and 24″x3″ fat tires. Max speed is 16 mph, but if you want more power you can get a 500w or 750w motor (34 mph) , as well as a 6-speed revoshift and other customizations. Available in various color options, the Otor e-bike weights in at 60 lbs and has a range of 43-73 miles on one charge, depending on the engine you choose.
