These days, we see a lot of interesting pedal-powered (and electric) 2 wheelers, coming from young companies. The latest to deserve our attention is an absolute stunner, named the Ono Archont Bicycle ($Upon Request).
Crafted by Serbian custom bike manufacturer Ono Bikes, the Archont is a hand-built easy rider, almost 10′ (3 meters) long, and weighing in at 44 lbs (20Kg). The chromy bike was conceived to “proffer exhilarating experience and an unparalleled riding pleasure”, as it comes equipped with top-of-the-line components from Shimano and Brooks, and wears Schwalbe Big Apple 28″/26″ wheels. Ono also offers an electric Archont, fitted with a 7 Kw motor and powered by a 72 V battery, which is housed within a cool-looking central carbon fiber e-box. The e-model tops exciting speeds of 50 mph (80 km/h), and is good for a range of 62 miles (99 km) per charge.
As we see it, you can’t go wrong with any of these bikes – they both look sexy as hell.
